Freedom of conscience: 21st century challenges

My lecture on the freeedom of conscience at the 2023 Living Freedom Summer School

As we are heading towards Easter and Passover I thought that it would be useful to discuss conscience an issue that is of central importance to religious and secular people alike. Some of the themes discussed in this lecture are further developed in my book, On Tolerance; In Defense of Moral Independence.
